MY DREAM ABOUT THE UNITY OF CHURCHES
By H.G. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Osthathios Metropolitan
[Diocesan Metropolitan of Niranam Diocese & President of Charity Trusts , Malankara Orthodox Church]
The entrusted mission of the Church is huge and wide. Our commissioned mission is not to be confined for a small territory, but to extent it further to the extreme end of the world. The Church should be empowered and enforced to face the growing agnostics, atheist and skeptics in the society and to cope with the challenges of skepticism and mundaneness. Church should exhibit to the society warmth of the love of God. Church should be a stream of still water where thousands can drink from it and quench their spiritual thirst. Charity is one of the most needed faces of the Church.

BE A WITNESS FOR THE TRUTH
By Dr K.C.Nainan, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A
God is the ultimate truth. Jesus Himself said that ‘ I am the truth.’ Because He always spoke and defended truth, He became a witness for truth; His enemies put Him to death on the cross. Our Lord wants every Christian believer to be a witness for Him. Our Lord’s apostles, disciples and early Christians were powerful and dedicated witnesses for the living Lord. We are always called to be living witnesses for our Savior. If we deny our Lord in this world, He will deny us before His Holy Father and angels in the next world.

EXALTATION OF HOLY CROSS
LOL Feature
The Holy Church celebrate the Feast of Exaltation of the Cross, which is also known by other names 'Elevation of the Cross', 'Feast of the Triumph of the Cross', on September 14, as commemoration of the finding out, in A.D. 326, of the Wood of the Holy Cross on which our Savior Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and its recovery from the Persians in A.D. 628. It will be very appropriate for us to think about the spiritual meaning of the cross and the importance of the cross in our life.

GOD'S TIME - MAN'S TIME : WHOSE TIME? - PART 1
By Rev. Dr. Valsan Thampu
The relationship between God's time and man's time is of utmost significance. All of time belongs to God. Materialism makes sense on the scale of man's time. The fact that a thousand years are like an evening gone embodies a profound paradox: human life is incomparably significant; whereas human actions and achievements are, in themselves, woefully insignificant in the light of eternity. Our life is God's invention and He attaches immeasurable value to it.

DEVIL'S HAUNTING
By E.S. John Australia
Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.

WISDOM FROM ABOVE
By Rev. Fr. John Thomas Karingattil
Our Lord Jesus was not educated in the schools of the prophets, or at the feet of the rabbi; not only did not travel for learning, as the philosophers did, but did not make any use of the schools and academies in his own country. Jesus excelled in the doctrines endued with a divine knowledge. The teachings of Jesus were of His father who had sent Him to this earth. The divine knowledge are pure and whole while that from world are imperfect and maligned.

GOD IS WITH US
By Rev. Fr. Mohan Joseph
John the Baptist owned himself to be only as the forerunner of Jesus and directed the people to one who were greater than himself. He told them that the Christ stands among them whom they do not know. God is not far away from us; He is always near to us. God had given His only begotten son, a mysterious name, but very precious, Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Now the Lord of hosts is with us. The eternal promise given by Jesus is, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
