Women deserve high prominence in the society. Till very recent past, women were subjugated to diverse repressions and exploitations. However, nowadays women are growing in parity with men. The participation of woman, in every walk of life, is quite significant. Women excel with atmost competence in their performance in every sector. This Excellency is well manifested in the Marthoma Church Women's Gospel Organization ("Savika Sangam"). The expositions of this Organization, in the Church’s spiritual nourishment programs and in the social reformative accomplishments are highly impressive.
The most imperative matters necessitated for our contemporary society are:
- Aware of the perception of our surroundings.
- Realize the challenges of the society.
- Confront these challenges with creativity.

Family relations and its security is to be identified as one of the important challenge of that kind. Many of our families encounter the menace of its disintegration. Family relations are being shattered by sectarianism. If man and woman
do not brazen out the life very cautiously, all the chances are there for devastation of the family. Time is the biggest gift given to us by God. Time should be expended vigilantly for fortification of family relations. It is indispensable that there should be love for each other and upkeep an unselfish mentality. Upbringing of the children and their growth are very imperative in relation to the family. Children should experience and get influenced by the affection of the parents. They should get the opportunity in the family for their behavioral glorification in relation to God. The mission of women in this aspect is very crucial.
Doctrine of woman participation for the accomplishment of
Christian Mission, was commenced during the public service of Jesus itself. Those women were privileged to walk beside our Savior, as they were self-dedicated to the Lord's presence till his ascension. Jesus invites women to walk with God, realizing the requisite of the society.
