As per the scripture reference, the seed of ecumenism was sowed by the birth of Jesus Christ. Angel Gabriel had proclaimed the event as; 'behold, I bring you good news of great joy, which shall be to all people'. Birth of Jesus was the rejoicing news of the entire religions of the world. So the ecumenism was first commenced and pronounced by the Angel Gabriel. Ecumenism is a mission of reality and that leads us for the unity with God.

There are two kinds of spirits that hover over or indwell this world, firstly the Spirit of God, secondly the spirit of this world that bridle our life to be with the dark angels, not the angels of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life. Human is earthly and at the same time heavenly as man become a living being by the breath of God. All wondrous things Jesus had done were mysteries.
