Contemporary tendency of man is to acquire wealth as much as one desires, by any illicit means. Bible does not say that being rich is sin. The Holy Bible distinguishes between possession of wealth and love of wealth and latter is condemned. Though Isaac grew richer in worldly riches, he was a man who became rich towards God. He worshipped God and he had clear vision of eternity. He lived in tents looking for the city, which has foundations lay by God, and utilized his wealth for service of public.

Jesus taught us in the Sermon on the Mount, “ Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” It is in this context that ‘meekness’ stands out as a virtue that surely sounds odd to the ears of this era. It is odd, because the common perception or imagery of meekness, is associated with ‘weakness.’ The truly meek person is not passive or compliant, but confident and secure, because he or she trusts in God.
